Turkish American Ophthalmic Society-Annual Meeting—

TAOS Members and Friends:The 16th annual meeting of TAOS will take place in Las Vegas, Venetian Hotel on Sunday, November 12, 2006 from 6:30 to10:00 PM.

 
The meeting will have two parts: The first part will consist of two 30 minute lectures by Dr. James McCulley, Professor and Chairman, Department of Ophthalmology, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, entitled “Pearls for Successful Outcomes with Multi-Focal IOLs” (7:00 PM) and by Dr. Rudolf F. Guthoff, Professor and Chairman, Department of Ophthalmology, Universitat Rostock in Rostock, Germany entitled: "So-called accommodative intraocular lenses - facts and fantasy" (7:30 PM)
The second part of the meeting will be open to free papers. Any ophthalmology related presentation (10 minutes) will be considered for the program. Please submit your abstracts with the attached abstract form to Dr. Zeynel A. Karcioglu <zkarciog@utmem.edu> or <zkarcio@tulane.edu>Abstract deadline is September 15, 2006. The meeting is free; we are looking forward to seeing all of our friends in Las Vegas.
