Membership in the TAOS is composed primarily of Turkish and American ophthalmologists, but also includes other physicians and scientists who are involved with clinical and/or basic research of visual system and related structures.   Some of the members of the organization are not eye physicians or researchers, but simply the “friends” of TAOS from different parts of the world.
